Thursday, December 5th

• 9-12am - check-in and optional professional development workshops
• 12-1pm - lunch on your own
• 1-5:30pm - talks and posters
• 6-8pm - conference dinner
• 7:30-9pm - public observing

Friday, December 6th

• 9am-4:30pm - Talks, including Keynote talk from Dr. Stuartt Corder
• 4:15-5pm - Career Panel with KU alumni
• 5-7pm - Dinner on your own
• 7-8pm: Public talk from Stuartt Corder

Note to poster presenters about their flash presentations: The 1 minute poster talks are a common practice in modern conferences.  The goal is to give the poster presenter an opportunity to give the most important points of their poster.  It is recommended that you make sure to provide your name, institution, title of the poster, and a short summary of the main topic of the poster.  There will be ample breaks and opportunities for your to discuss your posters with interested conference attendees during breaks.  The flash presentation should just serve as a teaser.

To help you better deliver this "elevator-pitch type" presentation, a workshop will be offered on the first morning of the conference.
